How many calories are there in a cup of tea

Tea without adding anything, has slight, but not zero calories. Cup of brewed black tea has about 2 calories. The calories come mostly from trace amounts of carbohydrates in the tea leaf. The same is true for most herbal teas.

The Life Cycle of a Tea Tree

The tea tree, Camellia sinensis, undergoes an extraordinary life cycle, divided into several key stages. Every variety of tea comes from the same Camellia Sinensis plant.
