Honey in tea

Tea itself is a wonderful and healthy drink, but sometimes you want to sweeten it, especially if the tea is a little bitter.

In this case, honey is a great solution! Honey contains additional antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. It has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties. It is also very good for the digestive system, it is a natural prebiotic.

It should be remembered that for maximum benefit, honey should be natural and raw, not thermally processed.

Honey is sweeter than sugar, so it will take less and help reduce the number of calories.

Don't add honey to hot tea! Honey is sensitive to heating and some nutrients will collapse. Wait until the tea cools down to the temperature when you can calmly touch the cup, or already into cool tea.

Enjoy your tea!
