This GABA oolong is semi-oxidized tea from Taoyuan County, Taiwan and grows in the foothills of Lala mountain.

GABA tea contains a high percentage of Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid, which effects on the nervous system.

About two weeks prior to plucking, GABA oolong leaves are partially shaded, which causes increased production of glutamic acid.

During the oxidation-phase of production, all oxygen is replaced with nitrogen gas, whose presence causes the glutamic acid to be converted to Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid.

You can also use Chinese traditional way of brewing - spilling, using Gaiwan and brew for 3-5 second each time.

Please note, that it is natural tea with high content of active elements, including caffeine, and minerals and some unusual feelings could appear. In that case we recommend decrease quantity of dry leaves and brewing time.

Покупала габу в разных местах. Эта мне больше всего понравилась. В других местах будто траву завариваешь, а тут очень неплохой чай получается.

I bought GABA tea because it is very healthful. I brewed it as it is written on web. It seems to me that taste is very specific and hard. But with less dry leaves taste became more soft and nice.
