Taitung County

Taitung County (臺東縣) is the third largest county in Taiwan, located primarily on the island's southeastern coast. The region is rich in agriculture and scenic beauty offering the perfect environment for growing tea. Because spring is warmer on the eastern part of Taiwan than in the west, tea trees sprout earlier and the harvest season is also longer in winter. Comparing to other areas, tea farms in the eastern part of Taiwan can harvest two times more.
