Tien Fu Farm unbaked oolong is a rare oolong tea from the Tien Fu Farm, which is located opposite Li Shan Mountain and consists of several tea gardens. A unique feature of this farm is that not a single road leads to it and the only vehicle is the cable car. Thanks to this, tea leaves are very fresh and natural.

The altitude of this place is 1700 meters to 2100 meters. The growth of tea leaves is dominated by the mountain wind. The sweetness and the mountain rhyme are very prominent.

This is very special for its taste and limited kind of oolong.

Leaves: delicately hand-rolled into small, green-yellow coloured balls.

Taste

Aroma: strong fruity.

Liquor with fruit notes, strong sweetness in the throat; brisk and smooth aftertaste with long-lasting sweet scent in the mouth.

Brewing

You can use any kind of tea pot, but clay tea pot suits much better.

Warm up the tea pot with the boiling water, put 2-3 grams of tea, and pour small amount of the boiling water into the tea and pour out, then pour 225-250 ml of boiling water and cover tea pot for three minutes before serving.

Boiling temperature – 85-95°C (185-203°F). You can use this amount of tea 3 to 4 times.

The tea leaves come unrolled for full flavor.

Additional information

This is one of the traditional ways of brewing. Depending on individual gustatory preferences you can vary brewing time from 35s to 5 minutes.

You can also use Chinese traditional way of brewing - spilling, using Gaiwan and brew for 3-5 second each time.

Please note, that it is natural tea with high content of active elements, including caffeine, and minerals and some unusual feelings could appear. In that case we recommend decrease quantity of dry leaves and brewing time.

Brief (5-10 seconds) steeps in 90 Celsius water.
Liquor is an almost clear pale yellow in color.
Taste is smooth and light with a sweet aftertaste, rather fruity.
Mouthfeel is slightly sticky with no astringency.
Wet leaves are deep green in color with a yellowish hue, giving off an aroma similar to ripe autumn fruits with a touch of floral and funk.
Flavor intensity starts to mellow down by the 5th infusion, thus best to steep longer from here onwards.
A (1 minute) steep in the next infusion doesn't give much of a difference in flavor strength but has a slightly more dryness felt at the roof of the mouth, and still has no astringency.

Big fresh and green Aroma, some tropical fruits present, strong and gentle balance, very nice.
The initial taste comes with a sandy bit dry mouth feel, then a big sweet and a gentle bitter note start to develop in perfect harmony, still very fruity.
In the finish the flavors last for a long time with a light hint of delicate spices
